Caroline Moore, who is now our chair, founded Buttons & Bows in September 2020. Caroline had been volunteering with Tulloch Net (who are part of Perth’s North Church) at their Food Share sessions. Their community worker supported Caroline to found the baby bank.

The baby bank gained charitable status in January 2022, and moved into its current premises in Market Street. Since September 2020, 545 families, many of whom are struggling with the cost of living, have visited us. We now have five trustees and 12 volunteers the Baby Bank couldn’t operate without.
