I need essentials
We’re here for you
Do you have a baby or young child and are struggling financially? Lots of people are at the moment, during the cost-of-living crisis. We’re here to help you with free new and pre-loved essentials.
Who can use the Baby Bank?
We help any parents or carers finding it difficult to pay for baby/child essentials. There’s no set criteria you have to meet, apart from living in the Perth and Kinross Council area.
What’s available?
We offer nappies, wipes, toiletries and food along with new and nearly-new clothes, shoes, bedding, cots, prams, toys and other equipment. We focus on children aged 0-6, but we do have clothes and shoes for older children too.
How do I get nappies, food and prams?
For free nappies, baby wipes, baby food, baby toiletries and prams, you need to get a referral from:
- Perth and Kinross Citizens Advice
- Welfare Rights, WelfareFund@pkc.org.uk, 01738 476900
- ESOL Perth, esolperth@gmail.com, 07427 689797
Please allow 2 weeks for your referral to be processed.
How do I get clothes, toys and shoes?
You don’t need a referral to get clothes, shoes, other equipment like cots, toys and books.
You can drop in to one of our sessions at 28 Market Street, Perth, PH1 5QH to get these.
They are on Tuesdays from 10am-12noon and on Wednesdays from 9.30am-11.30am. Our volunteers will be on hand to help you get what you need.
Do you deliver supplies?
At the moment, we’re struggling to deliver due to a lack of volunteer drivers. So we’d appreciate it if you could pick up supplies.
